Only 8km from Clarens Schaapplaats is situated in one of the most beautiful valleys in the area, nestling in an amphitheatre of golden sandstone cliffs. Over looked by Clarens mountain (Mother of The Mists) rising majestically from the valley. Here we have four excitingly different seasons. Spring comes suddenly after the hard cold winter, spring when the earth bursts into life and rejoices, blossoms everywhere filling the nights with sweet scents, birds sing their happiness songs, green leaves pop out and feathery oak trees are filled with the sound of bees.

Summer arrives on the heels of spring - magic summertime, swimming in rock pools, early morning walks in the crisp clear air, evenings relaxing around your braai fire or in Clarens at one of the many restaurants. Autumn the paradise for artists and photographers a kaleidoscope of colours, greens, rusts, reds, and yellows of the poplar trees stretching up into the changing sky. Do not despair when winter arrives a time of frost and dripping icicles, cold, cold nights and blue, blue skies, crackling fires, mulled red wine. That being said whichever season you decide to book with us we are sure you will enjoy your stay.
